Consultancy Position: Multimedia Producers
** 2 Positions, 1 for Islamabad and 1 for Karachi **
Program: Media Development and Media and Information Literacy (Media Dev and MIL)
Contract: Consultancy Contract (4 months). Full-time (40 hours a week). Unextendable contract.
Remuneration: 120,000 PKR / Month

About the Position
We are looking for creative candidates with experience in script writing, video editing and production. The Multimedia Producers will support women journalists in creating digital content and develop their capacities for online content production. Preference will be given to women with multimedia experience.
We are recruiting two individuals on this position – one will be based in Islamabad and the other in Karachi. Both are full time, officer based positions and remote / work from home opportunity is not available
Skills & Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a digital journalist/online content producer
- Must be comfortable shooting and editing videos, and researching and developing story ideas
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Responsibilities
- Provide training and direction to women journalists to produce and upload content on social media
- Make editorial decisions regarding the assembly of information, illustrations and content
- Must assist in repair and upkeep of studio and production properties
