Consultancy Position: Content Producer
Program: Media Development and Media and Information Literacy (Media Dev and MIL)
Contract: Consultancy Contract (6 months). Full-time (40 hours a week). Unextendable contract.
Remuneration: 120,000 PKR / Month

About the Position
We are looking for a candidate with journalistic experience to write stories, produce videos and report on topics related to gender, marginalisation and their manifestation in the Pakistani society. The Content Producer will be required to write journalistic pieces regularly and additionaly collaborate with team members to prepare scripts and ideas for different content pieces. Candidates with existing knowledge of digital technologies and content creation for different digital platforms will be given preference.
This is a full time Islamabad-based position and work from home or remote work options are not available.
Skills & Requirements
- At least 05 years of experience as a full-time or freelance journalist
- Impeccable writing and research skills, and ability to write well-researched articles and news stories for our news website
- Demonstrated ability to report
- Political awareness, especially in matters of gender and marginliasation
- Understanding of audience on digital platforms
