Dera Ismail Khan, 2 January 2016: Another journalist has been shot dead in Dera Ismail Khan. Muhammad Umer was targeted at Niazi Chowk by unidentified persons.
Muhammad Umer was affiliated with a local newspaper. According to police, the killers managed to escape after targeting Umer.
Saddar police station has registered the case and initiated investigations. Umer was a resident of Tauseefabad.
