A multi-stakeholder roundtable with policymakers, parliamentarians, legal experts and political and civil society leaders to jointly discuss the rising incidents of political violence against journalists, censorship and the muzzling of the media in the context of General Elections 2018, and with consensus, put forth a resolution calling to ensure a truly independent media in Pakistan.
The roundtable discussion will be followed by a solidarity march outside the National Press Club.
